Installing a New Dishwasher Without a Plumber

When it comes to installing a new dishwasher, no need to hire a plumber to do so. It's easy and you can do it yourself. You just have to follow the following steps.

However, before you begin, make sure the following tools are available to you, as you need in the process.

Tools
Screwdriver
Multimeter
Slip-joint pliers
Nose Pliers
Adjustable wrench

Note: If you are replacing a dishwasher, you must buy a new dishwasher full size.

Installation Process
The following steps will let you know how you can install a new dishwasher. We have assumed that replacing an old dishwasher with a new one. Therefore, the procedure starts removing the old sink and then install the new.

1. Close the water supply valve.
2. The electrical service panel, turn off power to the dishwasher.
3. At the top of the dishwasher counter flange, there are a few screws. Remove the screwdriver to remove them.
4. Now pull the bottom cover.
5. Be very careful. Make sure you have turned off the power. Open the electrical box to confirm it. You can do this the meter in contact with black to land and then touching the touch of red to black and white cable.
6. At the end of the wires, secure the nuts. Now remove cables from the terminal screws and cosmetic surgery out of fashion.
7. Find out where the water supply under the washer.
8. Disconnect the water supply line from the entrance of water through the removal of the nut.
9. Loosen the clamp and remove the hose to disconnect the drain hose under the sink.
10. After disconnecting all accessories, place a blanket in front of the machine, slowly lift the dishwasher and put it on the blanket.
11. Keep a towel ready with you because in the process of raising the dishwasher and put it on the blanket, some water may spill. If this happens, simply wipe with the towel.
12. Now that you've removed the old dishwasher, clean the area where the old dishwasher and placed where you have to install the new.
13. Place new dishwasher in the back.
14. Connect the drain hose with a compression clamp.
15. Wrap the connection of the water line with Teflon tape and place the 90 degree brass fitting that is used to connect the water line, also known as a dishwasher 90.
16. Adjust the front legs of the new dishwasher down so easily slide the unit into place. Meanwhile, with the help of an assistant, slide the drain hose under the sink also.
17. Connect the water line below the dishwasher to the dishwasher 90.
18. Pass the cord through the sleeve on the dishwasher and tighten the same way the cable can not be removed.
19. Now that all cable connections: ground wire to green screw, white wire to white wire and black wire to black wire. Use nuts to secure the connection.
20. Connect the drain hose back into its previous position.
21. Fill the water line by opening the water valve hot.
22. Check carefully for leaks.
23. If leaks occur, recheck all connections and try again.
24. Once you are sure there are no leaks or problems, as they will, for the front.
25. Adjust the front legs of the dishwasher and place in a level.
26. Insert mounting screws in miniature the bottom of the housing through the flange to connect the dishwasher to the countertop.
27. Reconnect the water supply line.
28. Turn the power on and the dishwasher is ready to act.

Therefore, if you follow the above steps, you can easily install your new dishwasher yourself. However, it is necessary to be careful especially while the electrical connections. Make sure you have turned off the electricity.
