Installation and replacement of dishwashers

Dishwashers are a very useful for household chores. Automatic dishwasher do the dishes and only put them in the washer. But sometimes, the dishwasher may need some repair work or replacement sometimes. You should know the basics of replacement or installation of the dishwasher. Dishwashers usually require 20 amp to perform its function. Therefore, make sure that before installing the dishwasher that has installed a 20 amp circuit. Besides this, there are many other specifications, which must be taken into account.

Steps

1. Turn off power at main panel of the dishwasher. Also disconnect the water supply through the valve. Locate the drain hose and separate the waste sink tailpiece or T-rubbish collection. Locate the access panel the dishwasher door. If you also removed. Now find the control panel, take cover and disconnect the electrical connections. You will find white black and green (neutral) wires connected to points. Disconnect all of them.

2. Remove the water supply pipe in the L-mount with pliers. Do not forget to a container under the water inlet valve before removing the tube. Loosen the screws holding the dishwasher in place. Remove the dish from sliding box out and eventually separate it from the box. Examine the sink in the kitchen for a pre-drilled hole or opening in the sink. That's the place where you can install air chamber. If none are found then drill a hole opening in the countertop or sink drill or hole saw.

3. Drill holes in the cabinet the base of the sink. These holes are used for plumbing or electrical lines. Size of the holes can be determined by the manual. Different brands of dishwasher are available and each has different specifications.

4. Position the new dishwasher into place properly. Make sure the dishwasher is mounted on the supports in perfect alignment with the cabinets and countertops. Facilitate the rubber hose through the hole.

5. Now attach the drain hose to the nipple in the air chamber. If you do not have an air space, simply attach the drain hose to the bottom side of the counter with a wire. This will keep up the drain pipe the dirty water back into the dishwasher. Now connect the hose of the washing water supply shutoff valve with pliers.

6. Install the L-mount screw to the output after removing the access panel. Attach the L-mount with pliers. Now, place the water supply pipe with L-fitting.

7. Remove the cover electrical box and give it a power cord 12 gauge. To remove the cable insulation can use the merge tool.

8. Now connecting cables to the terminals, ie, black with black thread, white and green wire leads with connector nut green. Use wire connectors for white and black wires. Once the connections are secure, to recap the electrical box cover and then replace the access panel. Secure dishwasher with mounting brackets. Ultimately, the key water and power supply and verify the operation of the dishwasher. Also look for any leaking plumbing.
