Charming Mendocino attraction is no mystery

It's no mystery that Mendocino is popular among tourists - after all, it was observed nationally for many years as a backdrop in television Murder has written.

In the short time that Ayres and Pastor have owned the inn, occupancy has soared, partly due to technical expertise leading to Buenos marketing Internet. The partners have gone to buy more buildings, including the well known Reed Manor, which is the latest and perhaps the most luxurious hotel in Mendocino. It is now known as MacCallum Suites.

Our stay at MacCallum House was quiet and relaxing and gave us a great opportunity to walk around the block just to visit the local merchants to hike or over the ropes, where the trails offer breathtaking views of the coastline and the city itself. We stayed in the "Upper Barn Suite," second-floor unit in a building across the lawn from the main house. This is the largest room in the house MacCallum, overlooking the sea. The unit has a private terrace and a stone fireplace, bar fridge and a spacious living room, plus areas of the bed, bathroom and kitchen. The furnishings are generally older - or close old ones.

Of course, eating at MacCallum House is a large part of the treatment and, fortunately, we chose to dine there, as well as breakfast that usually comes with your room. Both meals were the expectations. Breakfast for example, could include a butternut squash or red potatoes tortilla or Cremini mushrooms, main course we try, Lupe's Breakfast Burrito, a delicious combination of turkey apple sausage, scrambled eggs, white cheddar, onions and peppers in a fresh tortilla. After the good food comes a year, and no shortage of places to Hiking in the Mendocino area. Besides the previously mentioned trails, there are many areas where you can walk by rivers and streams and even enjoy Redwood forest.
